As a traditional manufacturer of high-quality fine papers, environmental protection is part and parcel of the corporate process at ZANDERS. Environmental policy is determined by the company management and incorporates the following aspects of environmental control.

Employees are trained and receive information placing them in a position to fulfil the requirements of our environmental protection policy in a professional manner. The focus here is placed on monitoring and evaluating the environmental consequences of our production work. Due to close links between our factories and the neighbouring communities we view this task as being a highly responsible one.
One of the central environmental objectives at ZANDERS is full compliance with legal requirements for the environment.
We view the responsible and careful use of natural resources as part of a continual process of improvement at the company. The consumption of raw materials, energy and water is continually monitored against defined environmental ratios. Any variations to planned values result in the leveraging of measures for improvement.
We develop our products according to the wishes of our customers. Product design ensures that environmentally friendly materials are used and that these are proofed for their environmental integrity and compatibility with health requirements prior to utilisation.
Communication with employees, customers, authorities, associations and other companies in relation to our products and production processes takes place in an open manner based on trust.
