How to increase the rub-resistance of matt-coated paper |

Avoid contact between areas printed in one dark colour and unprinted light surfaces.
For colour series, select products designated as "board" or "card". These are designed for packaging purposes and offer increased rub resistance.
Inorganic products are less suitable than a starch powder.
Any hindrance to ink drying has a negative influence. For this reason, additives that keep the ink wet are unfavourable.
If processing is resumed too soon, there is a risk that the ink is not thoroughly dry. The minimum time required is 24 hours on average.
At least a partial varnishing of the paper may be unavoidable in the case of particularly critical printing work.
