(Bergisch Gladbach, 17.06.2004) ENTER NEW DIMENSIONS WITH ‘THE SPEED OF LIGHT’ AND ‘THE HEAT OF LIGHT’ – two brochures launched by M-real Zanders that show the possibilities of ZANDERS Spectral transparent paper
M-real has launched two new brochures to show the exciting possibilities of using ZANDERS Spectral transparent paper: ‘The Heat of Light’ and ‘The Speed of Light’. ZANDERS Spectral adds new dimensions to graphic design, as it can be converted in as many ways as other high-quality fine paper but can also achieve eye-catching effects through the layering of different transparent colours.
‘The Heat of Light’ uses many different converting methods, including gloss varnish, screen printing, luminous or day-glo pigments and die cuts, to capture the different moods associated with the full spectrum of colours in the ZANDERS Spectral range. It provides inspiration for infinite graphic possibilities by contrasting opaque and transparent, matt and glossy, or bright and dark shades.
The second brochure – ‘The Speed of Light’ – suggests how motion can depicted by combining transparent paper with graphic images. The speed of light is portrayed by lines running above or behind each other. The overall impression is enhanced by the use of tinted gloss varnish, foil embossing, screen printing and perforations.
Both brochures combine the different grammages of ZANDERS Spectral to offer further ideas to designers, using the maxim ‘light for printing’. The theme will be developed later in 2004 via two further brochures: ‘The Depth of Light’ and ‘The Shape of Light’.
ZANDERS Spectral is available in 18 colours and 100 and 200 g/m2 weights, with matching envelopes in DL, C5 and 16 x 16 cm square.
